In this piece, we sing the choral ("Kyrie...") section, then we sing the chant section ("Christe...") thrice, then we repeat the choral ("Kyrie...") section. Be sure to phrase at the breath marks in the choral section (i.e., after each "eleison"). When you have a separate note for each syllable of "eleison," then sing it as four syllables. If you have only three notes, then skip the "i" vowel and sing "e-le-son".
