2018 Holy Week & Easter

When there is a conflict between a recording and the music in a packet I have given you, we will likely sing the music as it is written in the packet provided. As always, we will pronounce our Latin as indicated in the front of the Liber, and not according to various methods that you may hear in the below recordings.

“Attende caelum” will be sung on a psalm tone. The “Kyrie” will be sung entirely in Greek/Latin, as in your sheet music (not in English). The Litany of the Saints, below, is the full litany: the litany used at the Vigil is considerably shorter than this and is split into two parts.

INDIVIDUAL PARTS FOR GLORIA AND SANCTUS MAY BE FOUND HERE.

EASTER SUNDAY

No choir guide–see notes on schedule page.

Be ready for Vidi Aquam instead of Asperges.

The “Kyrie” will be sung entirely in Greek/Latin, as in your sheet music (not in English).
