The music program of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in metropolitan Atlanta comprises a men’s schola cantorum, a women’s schola, a mixed ensemble, and a quartet.

The two scholas adorn the liturgy by devotedly singing traditional Western plainchants from the entire liturgical year, principally at Mass.

On most Sundays and major feast days, the scholas are joined by a mixed choral ensemble with a repertoire of hymns and motets taken from every age of the Catholic Church’s bounteous musical patrimony.

On some solemn occasions, the quartet too sings, adding even more elaborate and intricate songs of prayerful praise.

All of these groups within the music program at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church humbly seek to glorify God and to serve the musical needs of the parish.
